Welcome to Ann Hill Quilter
"My first love is my family and my second is quilting - the two work very well together."
Ann Hill
Ann was born in the Shetland Islands in 1950 where you were taught to knit the traditional fair isle jumpers and very fine lace work practically before you started school.
She is currently Quilter in Residence at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary where she is working with people suffering from Alzheimers Disease. Her "Forgetting - piece by piece quilt " (80" x 80") is currently on display in the foyer at the hospital. More of her quilts hang in the Xray department.
