Quilt Book available
Ann Hill was born in the small town of Lerwick in the Shetland Islands.
She now lives in the small rural village of Mouswald, just outside Dumfries in southwest Scotland – famous as the home of the poet Robert Burns who wrote ‘Auld Lang Syne’ and ‘My love is like a red, red rose’ amongst others.
Ann picked up a love of quilting from her grandmother’s quilts.
She is currently Quilter in Residence at Alzheimer Scotland and Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary where she works with people with dementia and their families.
Ann also teaches quilting throughout the year, mostly in Dumfries.

My wee Quilter’s resource centre (not big enough to call a shop!) is open on a Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am to 4pm most weeks. At other times by appointment.
My philosophy is - if I am in I am open.
There are 400 bolts of fabrics along with basic threads, rulers and cutters.
